Health is the general body wellness. It is the level where the body functions at its best. This means that there is no illness in the body both physically and mentally. It is when we are able to make physical,mental and spiritual decisions for our health. We are happy and able to do many things when we are healthy. This document will give tips to a healthy lifestyle.
Food constitute a major part of our health. There is a saying that says that the number one medicine is the food that we eat. In order to live a healthy lifestyle we need to cook food that is healthy. Food that has nutrients that our bodies need for survival is healthy. Carbohydrates,proteins,vitamins and healthy fats is what constitute healthy food. Protein should be the good type and carbohydrates should not be processed. Since cooked food rarely has all the nutrients the body need we should makeup by taking supplements. Some of the supplements that we should take include minerals,vitamins and protein shakes.
Exercise is another great way to stay healthy. The cells will remain healthy when he body is engaged in exercise. We can talk long walks or even enroll in a gym to do workouts. Doing cardio workouts is good for the heart as well as loosing weight. Building the muscle and losing fat can be achieved through weight lifting. We can also stay fit by jogging. We stay healthy by maintaining a healthy weight as a result of working out.
We should stay hydrated since it is good for our health and our body is mostly made of water. It is recommended that we take 8 glasses of water per day. Water helps us detox especially when we urinate and sweat. By taking water we prevent constipation as well as improve our digestive system. Fresh juices, green tea are some of the fluids that we can take on top of drink water.
Maintaining a healthy mental health. We can do this by avoiding stress in our life. Stress leads to emotional disease that is caused by stress which comes from thing too much about our problems. It distorts your emotions and feelings which can be dangerous to your general well being. If not checked stress may lead to depression. Depression is a disease and it kills if not treated.
Our bodies need to have healthy weight. Having a healthy weight is important in staying healthy. Healthy weight is checked through the BMI which should be normal based on height ,weight and the age of the person. Diseases such as heart problems dietetics and cancers are caused by being overweight.
